Drimnagh Castle Wedding
When two souls fall in love their union must be a memorable one. Our lovely couple decided to exchange their vows in an elegant manner. The event took place in Drimnagh Castle, located in Dublin, Ireland. This historic castle from 13th century is restored with a medieval ambiance and breath-taking gardens.
Stoned walls and a great hall way speaks of a legendary tale which resonates beautifully with the unbeatable grandeur of the castle. The castle has a tasteful blend of vintage and rustic elements. The antique black chandeliers lit with candles bring a magnificent vibe and add up to the intimacy of the occasion even more. The main hall offers room for an intimate event with a wooden staircase that leaves everyone in awe of the sophisticated architecture of Drimnagh Castle.
The bride had a morning full of laughter, makeup session and glamorous updo with her bridesmaids. She chose to get ready for her big day in the castle, surrounded by white stoned walls. As she stood in front of the antique dresser with all her loved ones and stylist, the moment felt so surreal and promising.
From slipping into her spell-bounding dress to softly enhancing her features with minimal makeup, every moment was filled with energy and joy! The bride chose to wear a plunging gown with sheer back and intricate floral detailing all over the gown. The long trail of her dress looked as gorgeous as her pretty smile. Her sheer long veil was put on and on the other side of the castle the groom’s tie was put in place by his best man.
Sunlight sneaking inside the castle from large wooden windows brought the uniqueness and historical aura of the castle to light. All bridesmaids wore matching gowns and the groomsmen scrubbed up in polished grey tux that matched with the groom’s. The groom looked polished and sharp with his handsome smile. He made sure to steal bride’s heart once again with his charming style and crisp attire.
The long train of bride’s gown sweeping the chequered floor was a sight to behold.
When her father took her closer to the love of her life, his eyes beamed with pride and joy. The groom waited anxiously for the bride, he felt struck by the beauty and heart melting smile of his pretty lady as she approached him.
Lost in each other and this divine moment, the two exchanged vows and shared an intimate moment where the guests applauded for them. Their heartfelt vows brought tears in the eyes of their loved ones and sealed this moment with love and passion. This elegant day was made extra special by the pianist and his team as they worked their magic on the keys. Gentle music in the background made the day buzz with love.
The bride and groom couldn’t stop dancing to the tune. The day was made appetizing by the delicious food served and some champagne. The ceremony was then followed by a romantic photo-shoot in the garden and the backside of the castle. The bride looked regal and graceful in all her photographs alongside her groom.
