Mallorca Wedding Photographer
Intimate and Emotional Mallorca Elopement. Elopement weddings are memorable in their own way. They come prepacked with intimacy, and you can never quite get the kind of emotions you’ll experience at your traditional wedding. In particular, I believe that these kinds of marriage celebrations focus on the true love between the couple.
At most, some people choose to invite a few loved ones, but it’s often just the couple, me (The Photographer) and the celebrant. When you strip away the fanfare of most weddings, this is what you should find at the bottom. Two souls who have found each other and decided to start a new journey of love together.
This couple chose to have their elopement at Cap de Formentor in Mallorca, and I loved being a part of their special day. Please read further for a few words on how it went and the photo shoot that we did in the mountains.
The Location
Cap de Formentor is a gorgeous ocean and mountainside location in Spain. It was the perfect space for this intimate Spanish love celebration. This couple made use of succulents and tropical leaves that matched the landscape perfectly. It was just a tiny part of the many beautiful details put together to celebrate their love and the beauty of their destination. Cap de Formentor brought out the adventurous, modern and fresh inspiration you can often get at Mallorca for your elopement in this couple.
The Shoot
This couple’s wild and adventurous love story was very evident in their wedding shoot. It was terrific capturing them at this mountain top destination, with the beautiful, unique colours on display. The lovely rustic farm element was also on display here as I started by capturing the bride being prepped by the makeup artist. I also captured their beautiful first look. You’ll love the heart-warming emotions on display at this couple’s first look.
I was also able to capture other unique wedding details like the bride’s dress and her bouquet. I didn’t have to speak much to this couple as I documented their special day. This was because the atmosphere was already dripping with the intimacy and romance needed for the most fantastic wedding pictures. The shoot was pure magic and was worth coming all the way for. It was a dream come true for us all.
The Bride’s Look
The brides gorgeous A-line lace wedding dress was perfect for this destination. It was long-sleeved with a V-neck cut and fitted perfectly, reminding us of angels and magic. She had her brown hair down in loose waves that went perfectly with her flower crown. The crown itself was made of cream roses and succulents, which were also featured in her bouquet. I especially love how unique and special this bride’s bouquet was.
It was a mixture of green succulents, cream roses and red berries. There was also a hint of pink, making for a beautiful contrast in all the pictures. The touches of yellow and black in the bouquet made it very special too. I am happy I was able to capture this gorgeous bride with her look that complemented the landscape.
The Groom’s Look
Dark boots, pants, a shirt and a black bow tie, is what this groom choose to regale us with for this celebration. It went perfectly with their Spanish elopement’s relaxed and intimate theme and complimented the bride’s look. With his hair down and his heart on his sleeves, he could not keep his eyes off his bride as we captured their special moments together. You could see how much love was on display as they read their vows and exchanged rings. The sunny weather at this elopement also made things very picturesque, and you can see how amazing this couple looked in their sun-kissed pictures.
How I Did at This Cap de Formentor Elopement
I loved the chance to experience the beauty of this Mallorca destination with this couple. The love on display, the gorgeous landscape and the beauty are things I’d gladly want to experience again. I also loved how lovely and down to earth this couple was as I captured their special moments. This is the kind of wedding that makes being an elopement wedding photographer a delight.
